Interview in "Florent Schmitt Website"

We were interviewed by Phillip Nones, author of Florent Schmitt Website, about Florent Schmitt’s “Saxophone Quartet” (1941) and its preeminent position in the saxophone repertoire.

In the conversation we explain why we decided to include it in our ECHO Rising Stars programme and we give our thoughts about the musical qualities of the piece, its difficulties and the qualities of each movement.
